The existing Garraf Bridge included a 4-span concrete slab bridge and a steel beam single-span lift bridge. There were no bridge records (as-built drawings, materials and tests, inspection history, etc.) given.  It was assumed that the bridge was built in 1964. The bridge was being load rated because of PCIHBV request to allow cross over vehicles to use the bridge.
